On 15 April, 2008 ARM Central and Eastern Europe hosted a Regional Meeting for 36 moulders and suppliers from Northeastern Europe. The event was held in Tallinn, Estonia, at the Olympia Hotel. The hotel and venue were just right for the event and ARM CEE would like to thank the staff of the hotel for their professionalism and eagerness to help.

The event was sponsored by ICO Polymers (Europe) and 493K (UK/Ireland). ICO was invaluable in helping to organize the event and we would especially like to thank Hannu Jerkku for his efforts. Also, a special thanks to Dr. Gareth McDowell of 493K for his morning seminar. Hannu and Gareth were key in making this event such a great success.

As an event for moulders from Northeast Europe to get together with suppliers and colleagues from the industry, the Tallinn meeting provide a unique opportunity for networking and learning. It also spawned new ideas. For example, ARM CEE will now be organizing a Regional Meet in Kiev, Ukraine during October of 2008 because of feedback from Ukrainians at the meeting. At ARM CEE, we are always looking for ways to give added value to members!
